Police are asking the public’s help in identifying and locating a robber who broke into a gas station convenience store and assaulted the 63-year-old clerk inside.
The attack took place at US Petrol at 1290 Dixwell Ave. in Hamden around 11:30 p.m. on March 28.
The attacker hit the clerk 15 times in the head, according to Hamden police spokesperson Capt. Ronald Smith. The victim declined medical attention.
