Eugene Driscoll has had a heck of a week. And it isn’t even halfway over. Monday morning, he kicked it off by breaking the news of a homicide across the WNHH airwaves, in between retelling the story of totaling his beloved PT Cruiser.
Later in the episode, he chatted with the organizers of a food truck fall festival scheduled for October in Derby.
Switching gears, he was also joined by Jim Gildea, vice chairman of the Connecticut Commuter Rail Council, who spoke about the need for improvements to the Waterbuty branch of Metro-North Railroad. That comes on the heels of Senator Chris Murphy’s ride on the Connecticut rails, stil very much on listeners’ minds at the beginning of this week.
