Gone Dishin’ For Joe & The Knights

From shore to shore, the Knights of St. Patrick and their friends turned out for a Joe Lieberman fund-raiser Wednesday.

The West Haven contingent (pictured — Doug Ruckold, Bob Proto and Mike Lippselt) was joined by Branford’s Dan Cosgrove, former New Haven redevelopment chief Bill Donohue, Bernie McLouglin (former chair of the North Haven Democratic Committee), real estate team of Fred Maretz and Harold Kent, Ed Marcus (former chair of the State Democratic party), Joe Carbone (president of WorkPlace, the workforce development board of Southwestern CTConnecticut), Eddie Clifford (former New Haven alderman) Stanley and Hermione Swimmer, and former New Haven Alderwoman Lindy Gold, who quipped that Ned Lamont’s wife and kids wish that he had treated his mid-life crisis with a Ferrari for a net savings of $9.5 million.

Among the well-wishers were Bernie McLoughlin and Rich Borer, the former West Haven mayor who now heads Easter Seals.
