The Greater New Haven Community Loan Fund honored two people and one New Haven nonprofit for their work in the community during this year’s Good Egg Celebration.

Senator Richard Blumenthal and Dr. Laurie Harkness. Sen. Blumenthal presented all Honorees with a Senate Recognition Certificate and Laurie Harkness with her Good Egg Award.
The 2014 Good Egg Honorees were Laurie Harkness, of the Errera Community Care Center; James A. Paley, of Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven; and Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services (IRIS). Over 150 people turned out to the event, which was held at Anthony’s Ocean View this past Tuesday evening.
Chris George accepted a Good Egg Award on behalf of IRIS, and clients explained for the crowd what America means to them.
