The six-bedroom house where Mayor Toni Harp was living near the Yale Golf Course is up for sale.
It turns out Harp hasn’t lived there since partway through her first term.
The six-bedroom house on Conrad Drive, the subject of a previous back taxes dispute between the state and Harp’s late husband, is listed for sale on this website. Roberta Hoskie is the sales agent.
Mayor Harp did not own the house. Her husband owned it. Then he left it to their son and two daughters.
Harp continued living there with her son until she bought and moved into a three-bedroom home also in Upper Westville, on Edgewood Way, in November 2014.
“My son put [the Conrad Drive house] up for sale. My girls live in Atlanta,” Harp said Tuesday. “It’s a huge house. It’s really too big for me and for him, actually.”
“I love my new house,” she added.
“It’s a 9,716 square foot house for one person. That’s a lot of space,” Matthew Harp said of the Conrad Drive home. He has been living with his mom on Edgewood Way, but plans to move out soon.
