A pair of intruders got inside a Judson Avenue home and robbed a man at gunpoint.
The incident occurred Monday night between 9:30 and 10 p.m. Here’s what happened, according to police spokesman Officer David Hartman:
A 30-year-old man “told police he was inside his basement apartment when he heard a knock at the window. He saw someone running to the back of the house and presuming it was his brother, opened the door.
“The man was not his brother. He was a heavy-set intruder who charged inside. The crook and his victim fell to the sofa and began to struggle with one another. The victim said he complied when another man entered and put a gun to his head. He told the victim to sit on the sofa or he’d be killed. The victim said they went through his closet and asked, over and over, where the money was.
“The intruders made off with $200 and a several pairs of sneakers. Oddly, the victim’s sister would later report she’d found one sneaker from each pair discarded near the home.”
