An anonymous donor has made available a $20,000 reward for anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the homicide of 17-year-old Daily Jackson.
New Haven Police Department (NHPD) spokesperson Officer Christian Bruckhart announced that reward in an email press release sent out on Tuesday afternoon.
The reward was announced a week to the day after Jackson was shot and killed in Newhallville on Dec. 3 — several weeks after the homicide of his friend and fellow Riverside Academy classmate, 16-year-old Uzziah Shell.
He wrote that the $20,000 reward is “being funded by an anonymous donor and is not being offered through the New Haven Police Department or State’s Attorney’s office, although both are aware and have no objections.”
