Mayoral Debate Scheduled; Got A Question For The Candidates?

New Haven mayoral candidates Justin Elicker and John Carlson are set to square off in a debate this coming Tuesday night.

The debate takes place at Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School at the corner of College and Crown Streets beginning at 7 p.m.

Because of the pandemic, seating is limited: The first 90 members of the public who show up will be allowed in — as long as they wear a mask and either show proof of having received a Covid-19 vaccination or else a negative rapid test from the past 48 hours.

You can also watch the debate streamed live on WTNH.com and the Independent Facebook page.

The debate is sponsored by the New Haven Democracy Fund, New Haven Independent, and La Voz Hispana. Candidates will take questions from reporters from the Independent, WTNH, La Voz Hispana/ WNHH FM, and WSME radio.
