Brazi’s was converted to Memory Lane this week, when the “Pioneers” of Community Mediation met with current staff and members of the Board of Directors to discuss plans for their upcoming (Sept. 14) 25th anniversary dinner and festivities. Lindy Gold and Carol Anastasio, co-chairs of the event, hosted members of the founders’ group convened. State Senator Marty Looney and Marty O’Connor (former NHFD now UNH prof) were joined by Rosemary Lemley (far left in photo), Susan Whetstone, Lou Perno, Pat Wallace and Janet Murphy. Scrapbooks and stories were liberally sprinkled! The enthusiasm and pride were palpable as Charlie Pillsbury (executive director, far right in photo), Steve Koch (associate director) Martha Murray, Susan Landon, Paul Hammer and Kathleen Conway took in the tales of their travails. It was with great pride that these folks recognized the growth and sustainability of Community Mediation and the importance of its programs.
The agency is making plans to move to a more central location as it continues to serve the region and the court system.
