Tom Ficklin sees New Haveners as movin’ on up in the housing market and the professional world around them. And when it comes to thinking that “folks can move on up and get a significant home lift,” he’s not the only one.
On the latest episode of his show, Ficklin was joined by Bridgette Russell, managing director for Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) of New Haven, and Kim Chamberlain, financial adviser at Wells Fargo Bank, to discuss ways that that is becoming a possibility for many around the city.
For years Russell has been helping homeowners fend off foreclosure and learn the long-term tricks of protecting their property. Wells Fargo has been rolling out programs for first-time homeowners in the city; Chamberlain announced a new effort on the program.
