(NHI Nanoblog) So, “The Fracking Song” it’s not. But as music about nanotechnology goes, “Nano Techno” is a nice two-minute diversion.
Wired Magazine blogger Angela Watercutter has the details about the voices behind the song. And we have to admit, that chorus is pretty catchy.
The composer is Michael Wilson, aka “Coma Niddy,” who works as an educator at the New York Hall of Science (he also has a cute blog, called “Coma Niddy’s Brainspot”).
The song mostly focuses on the promise of nanotechnology, like cancer treatments using nano-sized gold particles. But it also gives a quick shout-out to the “great responsibility” of safe development, alluding to the safety and health questions being raised about the super-small materials.
