(NHI Nanoblog) The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced $2.75 million in training grants last week, including one nanotechnology project based at Rice University.
The one-year, $236,000 grant will help expand the work of the “Good Nano Guide,” a web-based collaborative publication published by the International Council on Nanotechnology at Rice, according to the organization’s blog. The project will develop training courses, based on the guide’s recommendations, that could then be used to train employers and workers in the newest nano safety methods.
