The Hillhouse High marching band led a parade down Sherman Avenue. But first there were three women to honor.

Elephant in the Room Boxing Gym offered a demo.
That was the scene on Sherman between Whalley Avenue and Percival Street Saturday afternoon. Start Community bank, along with Neighborhood Housing Services, held a “Multicultural Family Fun” block party in its parking lot there. The event drew some 300 people.
