Stephen Rediker, the 79-year-old New Havener struck by a hit-and-run driver while riding a bicycle, has died from injuries sustained in the crash.
He died a week after the driver of black Ford f150 two-door pickup struck him while he was cycling near the College and Grove Street intersection Sunday Nov. 7 at 5:41 p.m..
Capt. Rose Dell said the police are looking for the driver, whom they would charge with felony evading, among other offenses.
Rediker was listed as president of the nonprofit Building Bridges Global Advocacy Network, which, according to his LinkedIn profile, addresses “heretofore unthinkably successful foreign and domestic meddling in social media and in the electoral process.”
