The Boys & Girls Club hosted a panel discussion on the “ART of Mentoring.”
The event took place at the club, on Columbus Avenue in the Hill, this past Thursday.
Five artists from the New Haven and Bridgeport areas participated: E.S. Barraza, Henry Green, Custodio “Odie” Gomes, Bryon “AB.Y.SS” Williams, and Dooley‑o Jackson.
The moderator for the night was DJ Bigg Mann from Hot 93.7 radio station.
The panel discussion brought attention to the influence a mentor has on individuals and how, as a community, we can work together as a community to increase the number of mentors to assure great futures for New Haven’s Youth.
