Paul Ryan was high up in the air above Hotchkiss Street and Edgewood Avenue in the freezing cold Monday morning, clearing the air.
A crew of his fellow city Department of Parks, Recreation and Trees workers was with him.
They had the corner blocked off so Ryan could taken down a large, dead tree at the corner right outside the Coin Co-Op Wash & Dry laundromat. (Click on the play arrow to watch.)
Some of the limbs required a little hands-on final tug to sever.
Then — look out below! — they hit the sidewalk.
