Tyquan Hill and his cousin Chantelle had to venture only next door to enjoy some cotton candy, sno cones, and this bouncy castle. Tyquan lives on Sherman Avenue, right next to where Union Temple Church was throwing its Youth Explosion Block Party on Saturday afternoon.
Ebony Belton (at left in photo), a youth leader at the church, had her hands full at the arts and crafts table. The block party, open to everyone in the Dwight community, followed up a gospel music celebration Friday night. The schedule included a closing church service Sunday morning.
This young man practiced his jump shot, with some extra bounce in his step.
