Chris Randall probed into New Haven’s rifle-making past and, with a little help from Photoshop, emerged with some more psychedelic portraits of faded industry.
Randall, a photographer who also heads the New Haven Land Trust, recently completed a second clandestine venture into a vestige of New Haven industrial history. He entered the old Winchester rifle factory in Newhallville, where he took the pictures below.
After some computer enhancements, Randall’s turned out some more technicolor dreamscapes to go with the the images he made from a trip inside abandoned old English Station power plant on Grand Avenue.
