Wells Fargo Helps Kids

Neighborworks New Horizons sent in the following release about a check given to the housing agency by Wells Fargo bank.

Pat Witheril, Senior VP at Wells Fargo and member of the Board of Directors at NeighborWorks (R) New Horizons, recently presented a check for $7,500 from the Wells Fargo Foundation to NWNH Executive Director, Seila Mosquera. The $7,500 grant supports NeighborWork’s after-school program for the resident children at some of their New Haven developments. These funds bring a substantial improvement to the offerings of NWNH’s after-school program enabling the youth to better succeed in school so they have a better chance at future economic opportunity. Incorporated in 1992, NWNH has developed over 400 affordable housing rental and homeownership units in Greater New Haven area and throughout Connecticut.
