A 49-year-old woman lost her life in a fire early Monday morning at a multi-family residence on Saltonstall Avenue in Fair Haven.
The two-alarm fire began around 1:30 a.m. at 151 Saltonstall.
Two men were reported injured in the fire, one critically.
Firefighters rescued people from the third and fourth floors, according to NBC Connecticut.
The Red Cross helped 12 people displaced by the fire to find temporary shelter elsewhere.
The cause so far is unknown.
