With help from Winter Storm Pax, Westville’s roadside snow-art gallery has a new heart-warming (or ‑cooling?) exhibit just in time for Valentine’s Day.
It’s two colored hearts (pictured). You can see it on the front lawn of artist (and Independent arts writer) David Sepulveda’s home on West Rock Avenue between Yale Avenue and West Elm Street.
Sepulveda’s traffic-stopping snow sculptures are becoming as much a fixture of New Haven’s winter landscape as the seemingly increasing number of storms. Last week he drew crowds with “Snowbama”: click here to read more about that and to see some previous years’ work.
