Mendy Paris: Bullish on condos.

A Westville-based landlord spent nearly $300,000 buying half a dozen condos on a quiet block in Quinnipiac Meadows, in some the city’s latest property transactions.

According to the city’s property records database, Gan Eden Chadash LLC, a holding company owned by Mendel Paris of Westville’s Paris Realty Group, recently spent a combined $289,000 on six single-story condos on Oak Ridge Drive in Quinnipiac Meadows.

Paris said he doesn’t currently own any other condos on the block, though his company does own a few on Quinnipiac Avenue. He said he was attracted to the Oak Ridge Drive units because they’re already in pretty good condition and because they sit on a quiet, peaceful residential block near the North Haven border that is already lined with condos.

We plan on upgrading them as leases expire,” he said about the redoing the unit’s kitchens and bathrooms. A little facelift.”

He added that his company, which already owns around 150 residential units throughout the city, would be interested in buying more in the Oak Ridge Drive streetful of condos.

I’d love to buy more if we get the right price,” he said.
