The Augusta Lewis Troup School has released a video to remind their K‑8 students not to worry, with a little help from Bobby McFerrin.
Principal Eugene J. Foreman, Jr. begins the video with a message to students about how much school staff members miss them with Covid-19 school closures. The staff members prove it by dancing and lip-synching on camera to McFerrin’s song “Don’t Worry Be Happy.”
The school joins Metropolitan Business Academy and Dr. Reginald Mayo Early Learning School in using staff-made videos to fight New Haven students’ coronavirus blues.
