Cops later found the truck nearby on George Street. The truck operator is cooperating with the investigation,” Duff wrote in a release issued Friday morning.

The incident — including details related to who was at fault — remains under investigation by the NHPD Accident Reconstruction Team.

Witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are asked to contact the New Haven Police Department at 203 – 946-6316,” Duff stated.
