Today’s Legal Notice

The Human Services Committee of the New Haven Board of Aldermen will hold a public
hearing on Monday, July 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Aldermanic Chamber of City Hall, 165 Church
St., re:
From the Chairman, New Haven Peace Commission, submitting a resolution
authorizing the following question for inclusion on the referendum on the
November 2011 election ballot: Should our Congressional Delegation vote for
the prompt withdrawal of all our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan; for a serious
reduction in the military budget; and for the transfer of those funds for jobs and
human needs?’
Resolution of the Board of Aldermen of the City of New Haven authorizing the
application for and acceptance of a grant in the amount of $10,000 from the
United Illuminated Company to create a report on the status of women and
girls in New Haven.
