In accordance with Article IV section 3 (a) and Article V section 1 (d) of the City Charter, 2013 revised, notice is hereby given of the enactment and approval of the following named ordinances:
• ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATING ORDINANCE # 1 AUTHORIZING BUDGET TRANSFER #133 – 17‑2 TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM THE LABOR RELATIONS SALARY ACCOUNT IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,000 TO THE LABOR RELATIONS LEGAL LAWYERS ACCOUNT TO AMEND THE CURRENT LEGAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THE LAW FIRM OF MCCARTER & ENGLISH, LLP
• ORDINANACE AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATING ORDINANCE #3 “AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF GENERAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT BONDS” FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009-10 AND FISCAL YEAR 2014 – 15 AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CAPITAL BOND FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT 170,256; TRANSFERED FROM FISCAL YEAR 2009-10 PROJECT NUMBER 1059 “DOWNTOWN CONTROLLER” ($130,256) AND FISCAL YEAR 2014 – 15 PROJECT NUMBER. 1535 “STREET LIGHTING” ($40,000) TO FISCAL YEAR 2015 – 16 PROJECT NUMBER 1675 “ROLLING STOCK”
• ORDINANCE AMENDMENT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE VIII OF THE CHARTER AND SECTION 2 – 190 OF THE CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES ELIMINATING NEGATIVE LINE ITEM BALANCES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 6 – 30-16
• ORDER GRANTING LEAVE TO WITHDRAW TO THE COMMUNICATION TITLED “ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATING ORDINANCE # 1 AUTHORIZING BUDGET TRANSFER #131 – 16‑2 TRANSFERRING FUNDS NOT TO EXCEED $4,503,681 FROM DEBT SERVICE (DEPT 600) TO THE MEDICAL BENEFITS ACCOUNT (1 – 805-8510 – 51809) FOR PAYMENT TO THE MEDICAL SELF INSURANCE FUND.”
Said ordinances are on file in the City Clerk’s Office, Room 204, Kennedy Mitchell Hall of Records, 200 Orange St., where they may be inspected or copies applied for and reference thereto is hereby made a part of this notice.
The aforementioned ordinances were enacted by the Board of Alders on January 3, 2017 by a vote of 23 yeas and 0 nays. And approved by the Mayor on January 10, 2017.
Said ordinances will become operative and in effect on January 10, 2017.
