Next Level Empowerment Program Inc. (NLEP) in New Haven is requesting licensed and insured contractors to provide bids for the property located at 43 Sylvan Avenue, New Haven, for the project known as NLEP Housing Rehabilitation.
The scope of work includes substantial renovation of the property. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to repair the property as outlined, resulting in a complete and usable facility in accordance with the scope of work.

The project is funded by the State of Connecticut’s Urban Act Grant, is tax-exempt, and the State of Connecticut’s prevailing wage rates apply. The selected company and subcontractors must comply with EEOC workforce requirements. Additionally, the City of New Haven Chapter 12 ¼ and 12 ½ of the New Haven Code of Ordinances (MBE Subcontracting) applies. Minority and woman-owned business enterprises are encouraged to apply.
A mandatory bidding and site walkthrough meeting will be held on August 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at 43 Sylvan Avenue, New Haven, CT 06519. All bids are due by August 23, 2024, by 5:00 p.m.
