What: Join the City of New Haven and the South Central Council of Governments (SCRCOG) in workshopping traffic safety improvements for Orchard Street. In partnership with Community Alliance for Research & Engagement (CARE) and Street Plans, the City is working to develop conceptual traffic safety improvement for three priority areas along Orchard Street. Your participation in the workshop will help the project team refine the proposed vision. Following an in-person public workshop and review from the City, final recommendations will be presented in a virtual meeting. Subject to future design and construction funding, these recommendations will form the basis for implementation as potential interim- and long-term safety projects.
