The Public Safety Committee of the New Haven Board of Alders will meet in person at 6:30 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024, in the Board of Alders Chamber located at 165 Church Street New Haven, 2nd Floor, to hear and act upon the following:

1. LM 2023 0654

ORDER OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERS AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN (MAYOR, CONTROLLER, OR BUDGET DIRECTOR) TO ENTER INTOTHREE YEAR AGREEMENT WITH THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM IN THE AMOUNT OF EIGHTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($85,000) UNDER THE CITY’S FEDERAL GRANT AWARD FROM THE OFFICE OF JUSTICE PROGRAMS TO ADVISE VARIOUS ASPECTS OF VIOLENCE PREVENTION OPERATIONS IN THE CITY.

ORDER OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERS AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN (MAYOR, CONTROLLER OR BUDGET DIRECTOR) TO ENTER INTO THREE YEAR AGREEMENTS WITH CONNECTICUT VIOLENCE INTERVENTION PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED NINETY SEVEN, NINE HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS AND SEVENTY ONE CENTS ($397,975.71), PROJECT MORE IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED ONE DOLLARS AND SIXTY FOUR CENTS ($250,901.64), PROJECT LONGEVITY IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED NINETY TWO THOUSAND FORTY ONE DOLLARS AND EIGHTY SIX CENTS ($292,041.86), THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW HAVEN IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED EIGHT THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY SIX DOLLARS ($108,886.00), ANDCT IN THE AMOUNT OF FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FORTY SIX DOLLARS ($485,946.00) TO IMPLEMENT ACTIVITIES FUNDED UNDER FEDERAL GRANT AWARD FROM THE OFFICE OF JUSTICE PROGRAMS.
