Brenda Carol Bradley, born March 1, 1949, age 72, died in an accident on December 29, 2021.
Brenda was born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, and was raised in Mt. Gilead, North Carolina. She and her family moved to Connecticut when she was a teenager. Brenda was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School. She then went on to work at Lender’s Bagel Bakery on Grand Ave. in New Haven, where she spent 27 years. She finally retired from Club Demonstration Services (CDS) at the MilfordCostco location after being there many years.
She is survived by her three daughters, who made up the entirety of her world, Angela Saunders, Shirley Bradley, and Carol Kelly (husband: Kevin Kelly). She was an avid reader with a sassy attitude who enjoyed going out to eat, getting her hair and nails done, spending time with her family, shopping, and visiting her best friends.
Besides her children, Brenda is survived by her sister, Linda Carol White; grandchildren, Lakiesha Saunders, Jamal Saunders, Trinity Kelly, and Kingston Kelly; great-granddaughter, Jenesis Saunders; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, her best friend Mary Alice Footman, and many other friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Annie Mae Bradley and Lonzo Bradley; brothers, Lonnie Bradley, Bobby Bradley, and Mitford Bradley; and grandson Zion Tyson Kelly.
