Wallace Brabham, 73

Wallace Brabham, a loving father and brother, passed away on Jan. 28th, 2025, at the age of 73. 

Born July 11, 1951, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved to New Haven, Conn., as an adolescent, where he attended New Haven Public Schools, graduating from Wilbur Cross High School in 1969.

Wallace was a devout Jehovah’s Witness, serving as a Ministerial Servant. He was a life-long salesman, who found passion in special interests like high-fidelity music and automobiles. He enjoyed professional basketball and was an avid fan of the New York Knicks.

Wallace leaves to cherish his memories his children, Jeffrey Brabham, Alexis Brabham, Karissa Brabham, Jeremy Brabham, Corey Brabham, and Kendall Brabham; his grandchildren, Ashley Brabham, Aaron Brabham, Aubree Brabham, Yamiyah Brabham, Jeremy Brabham Jr., Lyric West, Jeremiah Brabham, Nasir Brabham, Kahliah Brabham, Melahni Brabham, Sahirah Brabham, Kennedy Brabham, Zyaire Brabham and great-grandchildren, Caden Harvey and Jerseigh Brabham; his brother, Steven Brabham and sister-in-law Nieve Yisel Brabham; his first wife, Ruby A. Brabham, and second wife, Melanie Hunter, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Wallace is predeceased by his parents, Wallace C. Brabham and Shirley F. Brabham, and brothers, David Brabham and Timothy Brabham. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who came to know him.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1123 Ella T. Grasso Blvd., New Haven.
