
The three candidates for governor on Nov. 4’s ballot debated the issues facing Connecticut’s Latinos — at a distance from each other.
The candidates — Democrat Dannel P. Malloy, Republican Tom Foley, and independent Joe Visconti — didn’t end up all agreeing to appear in public (as the candidates did four years ago) at a forum focused exclusively on Latino issues. The sponsor of that 2010 debate, the Progresso Latino Fund, persevered, sending the candidates a list of questions, and compiling the answers they received in return.
